I'm getting an Indie blue MCS very soon, and are keen to put the bonnet stripes on.
A mate of mine is a signwriter and will do them for me. On some photos it appears the white stripes have a small black border, and on others not. What do the factory/dealer stripes look like??

The factory installed stripes have the black edge (or white for the black stripes). Most of the dealer & aftermarket stipes do not have the contrasting edge. I have the factory stripes & really prefer the look of them with the black edge.

in most cases the One and Cooper do not have the pinstripes from the factory. The S has the contrasting pinstripe color. You may be able to ask your dealership for the pinstripe version - if they won't help go aftermarket.
