| The REAL King of Bling | Different reflectors for white rear lights I was at the local Henry Bros in Glasgow a few weeks ago and there was a mini there with the aerokit and white rear lights but with small round reflectors stuck onto the rear grill. Can anyone confirm that round reflectors are available from the dealer instead of the stupid rectangular ones? Cheers PS/B Cooper |

Offline | I've got white lights and bought small stick on reflectors from Halfords - stuck them onto the grill below the bumper. Saw the official ones cut into the bumpers on a new MCS in the showroom today and they look awful - why change to white lights and ruin the look with these. DS/W JCW-S |

Online | They are red door reflectors I have heard people say they should be e marked to be approved, I looked in the mot rules and couldn't find anything that says they can't be used |

Offline | The dealerships won't fit the white lights without the full size reflectors cut into the bumper! My dealership wouldn't even fit them at all! The only way to get them without the reflectors is source the white lights aftermarket or privately (which is what I've done) and fit them yourself. You can then take a chance and do without reflectors or fit the ones from halfords. Hope this helps Jonathan Completely MINI/Mini Mad!!! |

Offline | The dealer will only sell them as a package now. This was one of the conditions of the re-release following the legal issues. I think, but I'm not certain, that the dealer will only sell them to you if they fit them for you. It probably varies between dealers, as do most things! Either way, save yourself the hassle and get them from Cool New. It's the full set, almost the same price, but allows you to decide what you want to do with regards to the reflectors. They are ugly those MINI reflectors... |
