Hi all,
I have a pure silver cooper with a black roof. At the moment i have magnetic black racing stripes but i am looking for Viper stripes!
Most people with viper stripes have a mini with a roof that is the same colour. What do you guys think i should do?
I could have black viper stripes on the front and boot (hatch) and sliver on the black roof. What does everybody think of this?
Any alternative ideas?

Well a Pure silver with Black stripes looks excellent anyway (see my gallery)

Black vipers on the front and back would look sweet so at the very least I'd say if you wan't em - Go for it

Silver vipers on the roof. An Interesting concept. Not too sure if it would work but I have to admit, I like the idea

Would be interesting to see how it looks

Nice stripes Rich_IX, where did you get them and how much were they if you dont mind me asking. Did you fit them yourself?

i'm in the same position as you but have dark silver with black roof. thinkin about the silver stripes all over but not to sure as it'll look nice in subtle front and back but bold on the roof.

have u thought about dark silver stripes all over?

That may look dam nice fizzle. I would have to get them custom made. Does anyone have any experience of custom made viper stripes and know where to get them?

We can do this and have made it work for several customers. I can even make this work if you have a sunroof by printing the background color of the sunroof cover the same color as your roof and printing stripes to match. We just finished with a IB/IB and did LY stripes over the entire car. We created a IB sunroof cover with yellow stripes going throught it. Very cool -

I got them dealer fitted I cannot remeber the price sorry...
They did a good job no peeling or air bubbles..

Go with Matt from Cooperflags. I LUV my frost flames and "S" quarter panel logo on the triple black car. Check out the gallery or his web site. I've seen some postings on the reverse/inverse colors on the stripes, and they look way cool. You might also want to consider a set of stripes that fades from black to silver frost on the bonnet, then silver frost to black on the roof and the down the boot. Less abrupt than a stark transition.

That would also look amazing. It would be subtle, wonder if cooper flags could do a transition though?

DOHHH! - I need to work on this one. The color fade is not an issue, but the frost is a completely different material from print material. I would need to look at an overlay on Frost or Shadow - I'm sure this could be done but I would want to take a stab at the first install myself. When someone is ready to step up to the plate on this one I'll get to work on it.

Kind of hard to do the install since you're in TX and he's in GB. Maybe you just do a set of regular stripes (non-ghost/frost) and fade from Black to DS and back again?
