A small peice of the trim has to come off around the rear wheel on either side to access bolts, and you have to disconnect the reverse light (obviously). Outside of that, it is all pretty easy.

Can anyone tell me where the two bolts are under the wheel arch. I have removed the two plastic push screws from either arch but the piece of plastic still seems stuck in there and I can hardly pull it out to look for the bolts underneath. Any tips on how to remove the piece of wheel arch trim without breaking fingers would be great

No worries... I'll take a pic tonight and post it. It doesn't take too long. You'll be fine, and it seems you'll have good weather for it this weekend

Ive just swapped my bumpers over and the rear 1 really is quite easy, aslong as you know there is a bumper underneath the plastic wheel archers (which contrary to what I have read do not have a nut on, you just pull them off on the '01 model at least). I just kept undoing screws, pulling a bit more to find out where the next 1 was, and so on lol.

onemini, does the rear trim on the arch just pull away to gain access to the screw or is that some way fastened on the inside of the arch with a screw?

No, there are pressure clips that hold it in place ... just give it a sharp tug
