ANYONE GOT UNDERCAR NEONS ON THE MINI? I JUST BOUGHT MY ONES BUT I AINT TO SURE ABOUT THE FITTING, I DONT WANT TO DAMAGE ANYTHIN WHEN I DO IT. ANYONE DO IT SUCCESSFULLY, I WOULD APPRECIATE THE ADVICE. THENKS BEP.

Merely putting them in the same garage, let alone attaching them to the car, will damage the MINI. They do work quite well on rusted out Hondas and Toyotas.

My mate is work has got them on his Vauxhall Corsa

He's bit of a boy racer but if you ask me there best left for the 'street scene', jap cars & the set of The Fast & the Furious

My mate had his done by a pro & its probably best left to them to install the switch gear for them etc

I guess what some people are saying is that the MINI draws enough attention by itself. They think and I agree, that it doesn’t need such thing to get other peoples attention...

Hey, not everyone has the same taste. I have a friend with a mini 'classic' that has neons on his car. It's not something I'd do but I think it looks quite cool.

He mainly does it for competitions at shows, in fact at this years Southern Mini Days (www.southernminidays.co.uk) there will be a 'glow off' competition for the car with the brightest lights.

Some people don't like things that others do. Thats the way life is, don't be so rude to those who have different opinions.

Yes, I must admit I can't stand Neons on cars. Of course if it turns you on, fair play to you. Remember though, you will also need a white baseball cap, a nice beefy loud sounding exhaust (that makes it sound like something it isn't), a stereo turned up to Warp 9 and and blacked out windows. Unfortunately you don't want to give the Mini the wrong image with these accessories so I suggest a Vauxhall of some kind (Nova or Corsa will do).
