I am supposed to get my Chili red MCS with a black top in 6 months. I want a red full roof checkerboard on the black top. Do you know anyone near the ventura county or San fernando valley or Los angeles that has installed checkerboards on Minis? I would like to stay away from the Mini dealers as their prices are to high.

You're looking at a $100 - $250 install anywhere else.

I think Avus in Glendale will do it for you. Call them and speak to Leif Anderberg, he's the local BMW CCA chapter president and he drives a MINI (and works there).

It's kind of far to go but Modern Image in Huntington Beach did graphics on the cars in the movie The Fast & the Furious and they continued my stripes from the sunroof all the way to the edges of the roof for a unique union Jack/sunroof combo.

I'm certain they would do a bang up job on your checkerboard decal.
