Have a Cooper on order for late July delivery. Present spec is Astro Black / White roof but having watched Italian Job at weekend (fathers day pressie from 6 month old twins - how did they know ??) I'm now really tempted to change to Pepper White / Black roof.

However, I've worked out the reason the car in the film looked so cool is the aero kit. Now I don't want the whole thing as it's probably a bit too boy racer for me, but I really fancy the sideskirts and a black mesh grille.

Anyone know if this is poss, where from and how much it would cost me - I guess I need to decide by tomorrow latest as car gets built really soon - or should I stick with my Astro Black/White - ???

Im pretty sure that you can buy bits of the aero kit and get it fitted at the dealers. I know you can definately buy the spoiler from the kit seperately. I know the feeling on the dilemma over colour. i eventually chose white on a mini one so aiming to get a black roof spray

You can order the side skirts for £525 from your dealer (and they fit them) but the grill you'll have to order and fit yourself after delivery. This is quite awkward to do as you need to do a bit of home spraying.

I ordered my pepper white MINI after watching the Italian Job. I have a white roof with sunroof, 17" alloys and the side skirts... looks very cool. Personally I don't like the black roof with the white body.

It is possible as I'm probably having that combo on my new S. My supplying dealer is sorting out the sides and my local dealer is sorting out the aero grill.

I know it's possible to order the side skirts for delivery (as I did it) but the grill has to be done after the car has been delivered. I think this is what you mean...
