Question Colour coding wheel arches - NEED HELP!

I own a mini cooper in black with aerodynamic kit and im desperate to colour code the wheel arches and all the bits round the bottom myself, as i resent paying loads of money for a job i reckon i could do myself. Ive been reading up on how to do it but want to know if anyone out there could recommend what product i can use to chemically clean the plastic and where i could get the primer and paint from. Also, how easy is it to remove and replace the wheel arches themselves. Any info on the matter at all would be gratefully appreciated. Thanx.

I've been considering colour coding for some time now. Recently i went to my local paintshop and was quoted a price around the £300 mark...not too bad in my opinion!

£300 does sound good. I know that the black trim doesnt cost too much, I may enquire about getting all of the black trim (new set) and getting it colour coded. ofc I will be able to drive with normal black arches in the meantime and this would probably get a better finish than using my trim !

To get a finish like the rest of your MINI you will need to back fill and sand before applying a primer. Probably better to get a good panel beater to do this for the job to turn out looking like it was done in the factory.
