Chrome Side Vents for Cooper...

I've seen two types of chrome side vents for the Cooper, the shark type, and the regular straight ones, and I've decided that since they are easy to fit, and look great, I'd like to get some. However, what are the best places to get them from? I've only seen the straight ones at New Mini Spares, but does anyone else do them?

Thanks,

Dave.

You can get them from loads of places - I'm sure coolnew.co.uk do them as well, or you can take a chance on ebay. Sometimes you can find a set cheaper there, but more often than not the price always seems to rise to around the same as the normal selling price.

I have a set of the sharkgill type vents on my Cooper and I think they look much better than the standard black ones.

54 Cooper, BEP/Black, Chilli Pack, ASC+T, SS+, Alarm, CD Boost, 16" FIN Alloys, Anthracite Headlining, Xenons, Multi-function S/Wheel, Driving Lamps, sh*t build quality...

I got mine from Coolnew, they look great. Dont go for Moss Mini, theres isnt as nice. They make it look much better, especially on a silver mini.

The Cooper S ones look a load better, but MINI won't sell them to you unless you can prove that you have an S. (Something to do with the BMW Police, I think!).

If you like that option, they are readily available (new) on ebay. Please avoid anything that is used, just in case it helps any tea leaves...

Good hunting.

Tigger's right - I liked the ones off the Cooper S.

Dealer wanted my Cooper S chassis number before he'd order some! Bit tricky to give one as I only have a Cooper!! The Cooper S one's are very expensive as well £34+VAT each side if I remember correctly.

I ordered the Shark Gill type from Cool New. Arrived in about 3 days. £54 delivered.

I really don't like the shark ones, although I know I'm in a minority as a LOT of people have them. I do like the "normal-type" chrome ones. As you said, I've only ever seen them at New Mini Spares.
