Wipers

Is there anything you can do to wiper blades to stop them squeeking/juddering?

Car is only 2 months old and the front wipers are already starting to annoy.

Trouble is, they were fine to start with. It's just the last couple of weeks that they have started to be a pain.

Just wondered whether cleaing them with anything would help

the passenger side one tends to be worse, it doesnt have a deflector on it like the drivers side. but as a general rule of thumb, the mini wipers r pap!

Bah... Pap indeed

6 months and my Wipers seem to be fine. Mind you even on the fastest setting they aren't fast enough in havy rain and motorway spray.

there has been much debate over it, but I use Rain-X.

i got the pack with the cleaner compound in it. i like it as it measn you hardly have to use the wipers. once you're above about 40-45mph the wipers don't even need to be on intermittent when normally they'd be on constant slow speed.

as you use the wipers less there's less juddering. i also think the wipers move better across the screen.

i think rain-x is fantastic. all my cars have it and i even use it on my JCB Fastrac!

if you don't want to use rain-x, auto glym glass cleaner (blue creamy stuff) is good.

TVR Tuscan S. 400bhp, 0-60 3.8 0-100 8.08. 195mph. Silver/Black roof Cooper. Hillclimb MK2 Fiesta. 150bhp. Beats Subarus. Building a 'bike engine single seater. 320kg, 200bhp. around 600bhp per ton. 0-100 6 seconds.
