Here are my thought, tell me if i'm crazy.

I'm putting a deposit down today on a Cooper S. Since they are 9+ months away from delivery
I probably have 6 months to decide on color.

I want the panorama roof, but I don't think it looks right with the white roof (I've seen the pictures).
So my initial color wants are silver with the the black roof. Living in South Florida I can imagine
the heat the black roof would generate inside the car.

Here's the crazy part. I'm thinking I would like a more wilder color, like yellow which looks
great with the white roof. That harks back to my concern of the looks of the white roof with
the panorama sunroof.

In the US, at least in Florida the public buses are plastered with vinyl advertisings across the
whole side of the bus including the windows. The vinyl across the windows is actually perforated
so you can see from the inside, but from the outside is looks solid.

Soooo, how would this look? I get the white roof, with panorama and then have the glass covered
in the white perforated vinyl so I can still see out, the roof is all white and reflects some heat.

Opinions?

Very good idea. I agree that the sunroof does not look right with the white roof and had decided against ordering that option. You may have just come up with the solution.

Sounds like a good idea to me, probably not very expensive either.

I would get in touch with a company that provides the vinyl first though, so they can offer a professional opinion. Or just take a lot of time looking at busses (people may think you're slightly crazy though).

Or you could have one of the roof patterns printed on it to match the rest of the roof - say a chequered flag or one of the country flags which will be offered. It might make the sunroof stand out less as well.
