Offline | Which Bodykit? Hey all, I've been looking at bodykits to jazz up my baby after it arrives and after a long hard think I've narrowed it down to majic, hamann or Zeemax. I'd love to hear your experience with those, problems putting them on and such. Leaning more towards majic and I've emailed the guys who do the bodykit but so far no reply ![]() Thanks ![]() |

| Pangster | hi there. I ve had the majic kit fitted for a while now and to be honest with the kits available now i would get a zeemax or the orcari kit as the kits are off better quality. If you wana see my car its in the lastest Gomini mag on page 90. As you will see the front bumper on the sides have gaps between the bonnet. This is due the the majic kit bending the bumper, so the kit isnt perfect fit(needs chopping) and the back apron caught speed bumps(this was before i lowered it!). The majic kits nice once on but needs alot of work fitting. Ive seen a mini with a zeemax kit and it looks the dogs! So basically the more u pay the better quality. Like i said if it was me i would opt for the zeemax(if i had the cash!),the orcari or the new kit from mini-design would come in second. Hope ive helped in anyway? Cheeky-Red+White Mini One |

Offline | I have the Orciari kit and love it, but would have gone with the Zeemax if I had the cash. That kit is AWESOME. See my gallery for a few pics. More to come... *Be Warned* There are a lot of people do not like the styling of anything other than the factory Aero Kit, so be ready for that. Everyone who has seen my car has liked it or said only "it looks good, but it is not my style." Just be ready for the comments. I'd be lost if I had somewhere to be! |

Offline | Thanks Smoked- Would this be something that someone who does not live in the UK would be interested in? Back to the topic at hand (sorry)! I like any of the side skirts with vents (Zeemax, etc.) as long as they go with the other vents (grille). I'd be lost if I had somewhere to be! |

Offline | i think so yes, they feature a lot of US mini, there no reason in the future there wont be more europian minis in there, there have be a couple so far, there is a europian subscription on that site. now then, kits! the rear bumper on the Zeemax i really dont like 2bh, where as i love the oricari one. the hamann arches are the winner for me, luk factory but ultra phat!! anyone condidered the massive konig kit? or the new reiger one? ![]() HATED BY MANY...LOVED BY FEW...RESPECTED BY ALL |

Offline | Seems there should be a per issue discount if you sign up for the whole year. I doubt they have a difficult time finding people to advertise. I'd be lost if I had somewhere to be! |

| MINI2 Regular | Try www.estrictlyforeign.com they have one widebody kit for new mini which is pretty cool and different.. not as well advertised and known as hamann, acs, zeemax, or ociari. Japan has a lot of nice kits for new minis you've never seen or imagined... so I believe. Here are some links. sucks it's basically all in japanese, but you will at least get to browse and check out some cool new body parts probably not really known to most new mini owners. http://www.hosokawa.co.jp/maxstyle/japanese_index.html http://www.gut-mini.com/ http://www.garbino.net/mini/mini/index.html http://www.delta-mini.com/newmini/newmini.html http://www.berg911.com/products/index.html My personal favorite if I had more cash, could comfortably conduct business with Japanese, and didn't mind the extreme front end lowering height(much like Hamann front diffuser) would be to go with the Garbino Cooper S front and rear bumpers/spoliers. They take what's naturally there on the stock Cooper S and enhance it without disguising it.. if you know what I mean. Same comments go for Garbino kit for base Cooper model, too. Mainly, for the high price, the looks are really cool, but just too low for my personal use and using my MINI as a daily driver. Going to scrape and rip the front end to shreds before long and that just looks and feels lame. btw, my mcs is lowered too and u all know scraping driveways is even easier if you're not carefull. OH yeah! I also kind of like the body options from Delta Mini. The glass canopy body colored panels do a nice job of making the new mini look more like the old one. The rear duck tail spoiler is interesting and kind of old school, too. Whoever gets a chance to check these sites out, what do you think? Agree or disagree? Likes or dislikes? Can anybody fluently speak japanese so I can feel more comfortably dealing with any one or more of these companies in the near future? Anybody else who knows of some interesting & unique body kits and accesories for minis please feel free to volunteer more info. Knowledge is power! Sed e-nuff. -wing0949 |
