If you mean the small plastic vents that comtain the side repeaters, they pull out. They pull out at the "front" first, then you have to pull them/angle them to complete the job. Easy.

No hammers required.

rather than pull. Id open the bonnet, and attack them with a pushing motion from behind. As paul said, from the front.

Or could pull and push, just make sure you do it the right way round.

Definately from the inside. Access is a bit restricted so it isn't as easy to push them out as it might be.

The fittings sort of 'click' into place and you may have to push quite hard (at the front) to remove them. The back end has little clips which just fit behind the bodywork.

When fitting new ones you may have to push them in quite hard at the front to get them to stay in place.

I spotted a mag yesterday called New MINI (1st issue) and it had a feature on this and other fairly easy mods such as mirror cap changes. Might be worth a look as easy to follow with pics.
