Electric folding mirrors-U.K.-yes U.S.-no

I am disapointed that I cannot spec my car with this new option. Have small garage and for two years folded my side mirors before driving in.
Any thought on how to be able to have this option on my cabrio. My delivery date will be 1/2005.

buy the DIY fitting kit? just a thought? should imagine you dont want to mess around with you nice new cabrio, but if they are not avaliable in the US that seems the only option

Yup,no DIY for me. I have enough new owner issues to contend with without haveng to deal with DIY problems. Maybe after a few months.

if you dont want to do it yourself, you could always buy mikeythemini a ticket to come and do it for you, im sure he wouldnt mind giving you free install if you did that !

Ya know....I want them and live in Orlando. I could offer Mikey a few free days at Disney if he would install them on my MINI when it comes in in Sept.
