Hello all,

I've been looking at getting the aero side skirts fitted to my s but there seems to be a variety of costs people have paid for them fitted.

Whats the best/most cost effective way of getting them? non-painted and get somebody else to spray and fit, or just buy them from the dealer and get them to fit?

all comments appreciated!

I ordered mine with the car new, costing £525. So if you get them done by the dealer don't expect to pay any less than that.

Motivated by how good Fergusors MINII looks I asked at the convertable launch how much it would cost to have them put on my baby but the price I got was a bit of a shock and put me off until my next car when I can afford such things! I was told £650 with fitting and spraying. This shocked me as the aero kit isn't much more than £1000 and I thought that the front and back bumpers would be more than the side sills! I guess I was wrong!

you could try a breakers yard for the cheapest option or e-bay

I recently damaged my Passenger side skirt ennouyingly. Needed the whole thing replacing.

Took it to Sytner. they said, £40 for the part, £70 to fit it!!!... £110? Hold on a minute.

Checked mini2. seemed an easy job. Bought the part and fitted myself. Took me about 40mins (going slow so I didnt bodge). Easyest thing in the world to do.

Sytner wanted £70 to do that.

From then iv always said im fitting my aero skirts on my new MC myself. Should bring the costs down. Im sure they were going for roughly £300 painted from MiniSport but dont quote me.

Try giving them an email.
