Wanted to share Blimey's new appearance and get some reactions -
we are vey pleased with the way it turned out - not too flashy but distinctive ?

Makes his appearance tomorrow at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix parade.

I think they look good, and you don't see many MINIs with the black bumper inserts either, stands out without "trying too hard", if you see what I mean.

I like the graphics. Subtle but distinctive. Colors work well. I prefer mods that blend well with the MINI design. Yours do that very nicely.

Just Wondering did u get the Inserts Unpaint or was that the stock chrome ones painted?
Coz i'm thinking of getting some for my MC but painted white

Ecylai - The black bumper inserts were part of the original specification ordered thru MINI - so I imagine you could paint them white - not sure whether you could paint chrome ones.

Thanks Paul & Kens for your comments on Blimey's side decals and inserts- we 've had a few other compliments too, and today in a wet , British weather like, Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix- they were also admired .

There were over a hundred new & original MINI's at the event and we had a grand parade, thru the streets of Pittsburgh headed by the MINICOPPER ( an actual Mini cooper police car ) - running all the red lights, ala The Italian Job !!

Tomorrow all the Minis get to drive the racetrack prior to racing commencement !!
