What Exactly does the BMW aero kit comprise of, does it include the wheel arches. I am basically trying to decide wether to go with the aero kit or to get my wheel arches and skirts painted up to match my dark silver MCS.

Aerokit for the MCS ( and MC) comprises of front and rear aprons or bumpers and side skirts. The chrome grills you always see at the front of minis will be replaced with black custom grills. The wheel arches and trim around the car are left the same, i.e black plastic. I've got the aero kit on my MC and i think it looks much better with, than without it especially from the back. However in my opinion I wouldnt get it on the cooper S since the back of a cooper S looks spot on without it and I just dont think it needs it. Instead I would get the wheel arches and skirts colour coded which would look fantastic and probabally work out cheaper. You could always get just the sideskirts fitted from the kit as they do look better than the originals. I think the entire kit costs around 900quid plus around 200 to fit it.

i think ill probably go with the respray option, dont see the point in the aero kit if you still have plastic arches

good choice!! Getting the car completely colour coded will look amazing. Im looking to get my wheel arches done. Will look soooooooo much better.

anyone had their arches and skirts sprayed with the dealership, what prices did they charge if s0 ?
