Ive asked about chrome windscreen wipers before and couldn't find a supplier, anyone heard of any advances in this, and also what about chrome washer jets, are these available?

You can get chrome washer jets but they have lights on them as well, a bit too 'rude' or 'rice' for me..

As for the wipers, none available yet but you could get them chrome plated yourself. However the rear one is plastic, so perhaps it isn't a good idea....

Who makes the chrome jets - they sound a bit rodebot to me but I could have them without the lights working I suppose, thanks

My mate had them on his Supra but that was an import & he bought the car with them on

Chrome Windscreen Wiper Blades

Well not actually chrome but aluminium. The metal blade housing is ally but the blade is still black - but they look more chromey than black if you know what I don't mean?! And the housing has a spoiler on it.

Available from Demon Tweeks @ £11.99 a set in 16, 18, 19, 20 and 21 inches. Their website is pretty poor and I searched but couldn't find them listed. It's in their catalogue on page 163.

the last time i was at chromedesign.de i've talked to the owner about what should be chromed next for the mini. he said i will definitely do the "wiper-vents" and the wipers! just a question of a few weeks!

I thought Chrome wipers where illegal as they're distracting to the driver and other drivers if they catch the light. Only what I read though, could be wrong

Technically they're not chrome, they're stainless. All of the classic minis at shows have them, I've had them on every single mini I've had! (4 ish)
