Not sure what roof graphic to get on my new mini..............any suggestions???????

Well, I have an EB/W Cooper S and I have thought about this many times...

Firstly, don't go for anything with Navy Blue in it, eg. Union Jack, as the blues don't match and I think it would look funny.

Secondly, avoid colours that clash, having a red St George Cross would look very peculiar against the light Blue, whereas it would look quite at home on a Darker Blue or Black

In my opinion you should go for something monochrome. Black and white images looks classy and don't contrast to much with the overall look. Plus Black and White will go with practically anything.

EB is a funny colour to get things to go with.

There are issues with the Union Jack looking better on IB and HB, but I think the examples on cooperflags show that its not terrible, it's just "not as good"

The St.George's flag of the red cross is simple and cheap, and I don't see how you feel it clashes at all. How can it? The roof is entirely white so from above there's no Red-on-EB, it's very much still white-dominant. From the side/front you don't see a lot of red, so unless you're going to show us photos of a EB MINI (!) looking bad (!!!!)

... you and I know that's not possible

Greyscale photos work well as Rakey's roof shows, and I do agree that EB is limited when it comes to a roof decal

Have a union jack, but substitute the navy blue to the blue that matches your car.

The code for the 3M vinyl is 180C - 227 ( Bright Blue Metallic ), this is a perfect match for the blue paintwork.

Most sign companies will be able to supply you with this...here is one I made for my dealer...

I just picked up my new MC EBW yesterday and I had the two tone silver union jack put on the white roof. It goes really well - unfortunately I don't have a digital camera to show you it. Just to agree that I think monochrome pictures go best. You could also try a monochrome target.

Here is mine...on a BRG in Australia...

Give my brother a call in the UK, we share artwork, he travels all over the Uk wrapping cars for a living. I know he goes to Birmingham sometimes, if not he knows a fitter there...

email him on tom@autowrap.co.uk and tell him what you need...he can do anything you like...even phot images on your roof.

Just to follow up... I contacted Alexpalex's brother, and he says that the 3M 180C - 227 (Bright Blue Metallic) is not available in the UK.
