Just got a pure silver Mini One with amazing spec. I've got 15" 8 spoke alloys and someone said it would look crap with vipers because of the wheels, is that true? I don't see why it should!

Been searching desperately for a pic of a pure silver Mini One with black viper stripes though. Anyone got one? I saw one today and absolutely fell in love with it.

To do it through BMW, the vipers are £99 but does this include fitting? And I've heard of the new BMW vipers having some sort of authentication mark on them - Does it look awful? Does anyone have a pic? And would I be better buying them from somewhere like coolnew or idle gear? I just know I like the size of the BMW ones etc. And if I did, where could I get them fitted and how much would it cost? Somewhere like Kwik Fit, would they do it? no?

Nice mini

I really like the vipers on a one rather than bonnet stripes. I still can't find a pic of a pure silver with black vipers though. If anyone has one I'd be so grateful!

Btw your dad's SL is hot, I really hope to have one of those someday.

I phoned my local garage and they redirected me to the garage they go to. They don't use BMW stripes so there'll be no authentication mark and they also charged £80 less for the same job with the same stripes at the same place. Heh. So, who thinks I should get it done?! It will cost me £105 but I'm much happier getting a professional job done.

Why did 2 of my mates say vipers would look crap with 15" 8 spoke alloys? I see no problem there?
