| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | Has anyone replaced their grill? Please may people post some pics, suggestions or their own custom designs or ideas. I need inspiration! I want to have the black surround with mesh from the Jag XKR and XJR respectively. Can anyone photo shop this? I thought it was Expanded Metal! ![]() What he's after of the jag is Woven Wire in S/Steel, a 4's mesh or 3's Mesh should be about right (4's being 4 holes per inch, 3's being 3 holes per inch) Woven would look much better than Expanded Metal, thats what I'm hopeing to do myself. ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | I just need to get hold of:- mesh from the XJR (£30 from jag) - Grill shell (£25 from dealer)...non smokable of course... - Sunny day for work in the garden - A few tools etc... - Some patience Any advice on assembling such a grill would be highly appreciated! Offline | its my car, it was quiter easy to do, i used the origibal grill surround, cut the grooves for the slats out and then dont tell anyone but stick it all togethr with lots of double sided stickjy tape and super glue, ssshhhhh its a proffesional job |

| MINI2 Regular | bodge job It sounds like a bit of a bodge job to me... How long is that really going to last??? Got to be more complicated than that to get a long lasting, durable, professionally finished grill... Back to the drwing board... This car is going to lose me my license one day. I LOVE IT!!!
