Has anyone done anything with roof graphics on a MINI with the sunroof?

My wife and I are going to get a MINI with a white roof and sunroof, and we'd like to do a perforated vinyl graphic on the sunroof portion. My goal is to come up with something unique which also works when the sunroof is open.

Personally, I think I have it:

I created this particular image of the coat of arms, but it is my family arms. I'm twelve generations removed through the male line of a knighted gentlemen who came to the U.S. in 1638. I think it looks right at home on a British car.

My wife thinks I'm nuts.

Any comments? Good idea? Bad? A bit too stodgy?

but maybe your wife is right.
It's a little too exagerated

It's in 2 pieces, so I would be careful if I were you.

Are those people wax models? They don't seem to have moved whilst the sunroof opened!
