DIY aero kit skirts

yo dooods,

might be getting some aero skirts soon, just wondered are they a bugger to fit? and will i need any additional clips etc?

if you could help that would be cooooooool

Have a look through the search tool. There is a load of info in fiiting areo side skirts.

I'm in the process of getting some colour keyed and fitted.
It seems they are a bugger to fit, and yes the clips tend to break.
You'll need new scuff plates as well.

That's why I'm getting someone else to fit mine.

England Fitting Side skirts

Hello,

I fitted side skirts to my S. Old skirts are easy to take off with a bit of persuasion. Keep your old plates by easing them off with a palette knife or some other flat blade. wipe glue off with WD40. The new shirts come with a mounting, make sure the correct mounting is on the correct skirt ( yes you can get it wrong). You should have kept the clips from the underside of your old skirt,fit these to your new one once the skirt is in place. Use trim tape to affix your old plates to your new skirt. Good Luck, should take around 1 1/2 hours.
