Retro fitting face lift

Anyone know if it's possible to fit any of the new face lift bits to earlier (04) model?

Specifically the new cool headlights and the instruments (centre and steering column mounted).

Sorry if you've heard this one before - it's my first post.

Cheers

Dr X.

In theory everything should be replaceable except for maybe the clock and internal lighting - unless you wan to go as far as replacing the wiring loom. All the rest should be just bolt ons but would hate to think what it would cost to replace everything - would be much cheaper just to get the face lift car!

Many of us have already installed all the chrome interior and new storage compartment. These have all been covered in different threads but I have compiled it all in one page of my web site - see here:http://www.newminiseverns.com/newfromMINI.htm

I had thought about replacing the car - I've only had it a year and in that time the colour I wanted but couldn't have (for an mcs) became available (pepper white) and exactly a year after mine was delivered a face lifted version appears.

I hate it when that happens.

But what I think I'll do is keep it and get some value - but go for the works kit to make me feel better. And some of the face lift bits perhaps.

But I do like the new headlights and the chronograph dial.

Hmmm.
