My wife and I saw some MINI's at Motorwerks in Minneapolis in March. One of them had a large and very retro looking chrome gas cap. I have been told these caps are only on the "S". Didn't think there were any "S"'s in the states in March. I would like to know the real story on these gas filler caps. Will it fit to a standard Cooper? Where to get one? Anything else?

We have an Indy Blue with white top, 16" 5 hole wheels, bun warmers, and a great personality.

It would look really good with one of those great chrome gobs hanging on its driver side.

That would be an S you saw. You can tell by a hood scoop as well as the color - or the dealer retrofitted one to the standard Cooper. Call your Mini dealer for a price.
