Offline | At last, the Body Kit is here! Just got the call from the dealers this morning, my BMW Body kit in EB has finally arrived at the dealership and is awaiting my MC to unite them at last. White lights still on order, no idea when they will arrive - I am apparently 1st in the queue. Only thing is, can I bear to be parted from my mini for the 1 day it will take to fit, and will I love it when it gets back? Looks like it will be early next week as its the earliest I can be around for them to collect it. Reconfirmed about keeping the chrome, and yes, they are still going to do it. Will post some pics when it returns. |

Offline | I love the Aero Kit, gives the little beast an more aggressive look. Really want to get one but keep thinking to myself that I'd like to keep the chrome trims around the new black honeycomb grill. Is that what you meant... I think it'll look wicked, looking forward to seeing the pictures. ![]() |

Offline | Thanks Its fascinating to me that every response I have had on the forum about the aero kit talks about it looking more aggressive - and yet that's not really what I'm going for (will start having sleepless nights again about whether I've done the right thing on ordering it - it was a bit of an unresearched spur of the moment at time of order thing, so I have always been a bit unsure of the end result!) Not that I am going for anything really - just think they look kind of cool. I want to keep the top 2 grills as chrome, the bonnet one and the one just under the bonnet. In the standard bmw aero kit they provide black replacements. I am not sure if you can keep the surround and change the slats only - but basically mine will be all chrome top 2 grills, with black at the bottom of the front spoiler. |
