Offline | Aero kit lower grille removal Hi people, I'm looking to remove the lower aero kit grille from the bumper as I want to colour code it, but I'm not sure how its fixed on, anyone know for sure? I had a little pull at it, but didn't want to apply too much pressure. I'm sure its either clipped in or bonded in, preferably the former! Scottybhoy |

Offline | Finally, I unscrewed the front bumper and pushed the clips out from the back, its now primed, and waiting for a coat of Solid Black. Have already painted the top part but its proving tricky to remove the old top part, the nuts dont unscrew, do you just have to prise them off? Scottybhoy |

Offline | Managed to find out the proper way by asking the dealer technician, had popped in to collect my spare key and asked on the way out. For anyone who's interested, he recommended using a flathead screwdriver wedged between the washer and the fastener, then using a 10mm socket to get the fastener off. When refitting, put the fastener on, and tighten it on using a 10 nut inside the socket to help push the fastener back on. Why didn't they just put simple bolts on them! I would never have tried what the guy told me! Some before and after pics Scottybhoy |
