Wtf!

So i am at the dealership today picking my car up after getting some things fixed and while im there i figured i should ask and just see how much they are charging for an aero kit. they quoted about 3300. painted and installed. that is ridiculous has any one put the aero kit after market what did you pay surley not that much.

Surely the 2 wanna-be mesh grill stickers for the rear bumper are worth half the price of admission (NOT!!!!) I too wanted the aero kit but can't bring myself to fork out the amount of $ BMW wants, when urethane kits for other cars cost less than half, installed & painted. And did I mention those FAKE MESH GRILLS?!??!!

Look at it this way, at least those who have the aero kits won't see themselves driving down the street everyday. And when they drive by me with the stock looking MINI they'll see the envy in my eyes...

My dealer quotes a price of $2,200 to install the aero kit.

Seems like a lot to me, may not help the resale value of the car, either.

But it sure looks nice!

Try shopping around for a better deal.... but you've got to remember the aero kits is expensive and if done by a bmw dealer will maintain the warranty.
