| MINI2 Regular | New Mini rear lights???? I was looking at the 05 mini review on here and I was wondering if anyone had some better shots of the new rear light clusters? I am considering getting a different cluster possible the all the clear set but Im not sure how this would look on a pepper white. Does anyone have pics of either new mini, white or Rear lights with white direction indicators? Any comments etc Thanks |

Offline | Purchase clear rear lamps, unclip bulb clusters, de-solder the 2 fog lamp bulbs, replace with normal white bulbs. Fit to car. ![]() I can supply them ready prepared |

| MINI2 Master | They're just amazingly boring and unimaginative. And the reverse lamps look poop. There was nothing wrong with them before the facelift. Still, might not necessarily be getting another MINI now, so I might not have to suffer them. Astra 3 Door Coupe 1.9 CDTi 150bhp. Mmmmmmmmmm. Can't wait for them to arrive (March 05).Would especially like this one, but it's a concept... |

| MINI2 Master | I used to work for a Vauxhall dealers and I know the real answer to that is that they're not.I also used to drive a turbo diesel (5 years!) and I have a hard time getting my head around the poor consumption of the Cooper, let alone the S. The FIAT JTD engines Vauxhall are now using are all very, very good and as MINI are in no rush to give us a decent quick diesel then I might be tempted elsewhere. ATM I'm split 50/50 in the decision on the next car. Annoyed I'm going to have to wait until March to test the Coupe though. Only downer is big depreciation and I'm not sure that'll stop me getting the Astra. |

Offline | A Mini owner switching to a Vauxhall ? I am absolutely gobsmacked, stunned and bewildered. If you really must have a quick diesel then a Fabia vRS is the only way to go, stunning value for £10,995. |

| MINI2 Master | I've been a fan of Vauxhalls since before I left school. It won't be hard for me to go back to my roots. Like I say, all that slows me down is the thought of the depreciation. Why the surprise anyway? People really go on as if Vauxhall build really crap cars, and in the last two or three years that is a long way from the truth. Tell me you don't like the pictures of the concept (scheduled for reality actually) I posted earlier... Anyway, my decision is still to be made. ![]() |

| MINI2 Senior | i have to agree that on the previous pictures i've seen on the new lights i didn't like them particular the new placement of the fog lamp.. however seeing these pictures with the new rear light clusters on the DS my opinion changed.. i think they look quiet good on this car....... but i haven't seen many pics of the new lights on different colour combo so i will have to see an actual car for knowing how it will look.. but it didn't stop me from getting another MCS....... (if 1 change makes you not getting the MCS i guess u dun like it enough )05 PW/B chilli. finally here. |

| MINI2 Senior | I didn't even notice they had new rear lights until recently. I was travelling behind one in my Clio one day and it started to brake in front of me and i was like "wow, they look awesome!". The lights alone may of swayed my change from going for a new Cooper instead of a second hand one As for Vauxhall, please name a decent car they have produced recently? How could you possibly find a rep-mobile such as the Astra desirable? Its a shame people have to always consider running costs, for me a car is my hobby, my escape, i certainly wouldn't compromise. Why not buy something second hand? Something decent -Rob |

| Some have THICK skins!!!! | I have to agree that Vauxhalls are good cars but they are still really boring. I had Vauxhalls all the way up untill I got the Cooper and have NO intention of going back. Theyre Fine if you wanna drive an unpersonalised euro box. The MINI is so more unique. I have heard a diesel version of the new Prince engines is also in development - so dont give up on MINI yet! Paul |
