This might sound completely crazy....... but what colour should I do my cooper s works??

It can be any colour at all as im building one from a new shell. The parts are being cheaply donated by a works that has side impacted a pole and is cat d writen off! Should be a fun 3month project!

I'm thinking a really nice blue...... to give it that really individual look. But any ideas are welcome.... pics are great too if your a wizz with Photoshop!

Or a two stage flip paint......

You want solid colours, metallic, pearl or flip?

Hey button it! Luck! hahahaha.... yeah gonna need quite a bit to reach my target of a 3month turn around..... but there will be a website with it all on and hopefully a few favours and deals for some free advertising on the car. Hopefully if all goes well i'll be at SCNM mini runs in the near future. Theres a 1month max lead time on the new shell so this project isnt going to be off the ground properly until then and the cars being shipped soon hopefully!

I'd personally really like a metallic Blue! But its hard picturing the car in metallic blue.... I was think of the same sort of blue as the Clio Cup...... Need to start looking around as soon as poss really. cause that shell will need to be sprayed asap! How about a black/purple flip.....?

Some of the 'Monogram' paint effects available through MG-Rover are great - assuming you can actually get hold of the paints.

Hope you keep your gallery updated as you go along with the project?

not a bad idea.... I did think black with painted graphics on... but all adds to the cost at the end of the day. Yep the whole thing will be documented with lots of pictures. First pictures to go up soon of the car as it is. Not a pretty sight for mini lovers everwhere!
