| MINI2 Master | Something that's been bugging me since day 1, the way the sidelights look yellow, and a little silly in comparison to the Xenons, I ordered a few different types of white lights, but still they were paling in comparison. So I decided to be brave and try out blue, and to be honest I didn't think I'd like them at all, but I'm quite pleasantly suprised and these ones are staying, loads of people have remarked on how nice they are too, so big smiles! Here's my before - And my after - ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | Yeah, when they're not on you can see the blue bulb, but it's tiny. The yellow lights bothered me more. and ok, they're not strictly road legal....however, In Dublin, they're going through a phase of stopping people for tax and insurance everywhere, I've been working a good few nights and so far, been stopped 3 times, not a word said to me. I also was following behind a cop car for about 2 miles this evening on my way home from work and it wasn't said. They're not "in your face" blue, Ive seen waaaay more offensive lights going around. ![]() |

Offline | www.powerbulbs.com give you the blue vision sidelights free with your order of, say, clear indicators. Good deal. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | nylo I just got them in the local car accessories shop, they are illegal and the police have driven by me and gave me funny looks a few times so I think I'll have to change them back again ![]() |

| Are we nearly there yet? | Philips Vision Plus Yep - I use Vision Plus in main and dip (both are H7 fit). They really deliver more light on the road (and I also think the new headlight design in my new Cooper is beter than the original one). The light comes out a clean white, no hint of blue as far as I can tell. There's been some discussion about the fog lights - not sure which thread, but I don't think it's that easy to get at them....... Ian No R57D until 2010? |
