Instead of buying the aero kit grille insert, im think about just getting the center peice power coated black. and leaving the rim chrome. do you guys think that would look good i have CR/B. Has anyone seen/tried this before?

You should probably get it painted as the grill slats are plastic not metal...but besides that, i say go for it....thats the look i have on my cooper(no pics though, sorry

Do a search for MiniOne's. They have black slats with chrome rims.

I was going to paint my Cooper grill EB like on the MCS's

but was quoted about £150.
Probably going to fit the aerokit grill but im scared of taking off the front bumper!
