The wheels don't do much for me, and I wouldn't have painted the wheel arches and sills body color either.

I don't think that design suits the MINI really, it looks too small as well. Painting the arches seems to have made them look bigger

If your going for big wheels (17") and you don't want to upgrade your brakes then get some wheels with a lot of spokes that hide your disk brakes reasonably well. TC has got 6 spoke 17" Kahns on his and he said that they make his Brakes look puney and daft (I agreed) he pointed out that my S spokes hide the disc brakes reasonably, no to much, just enough to not look daft, SO I say if your getting 17s get some with a lot of spokes, or something like the S spokes
