Offline | Wonder Wheels! Comes with a natty little brush for those nooks and crannies and a little pot so you only use what you need. Trigger sprays waste too much of the cleaning fluid. It's a mild acid so if the R90s are multipiece wheels then it's a big no-no. Or pop down to your local hardware store and find a nice medium-stiffness-but soft paint brush. Wrap the metal bit with electrical tape so you don't scratch your alloys. Basically any half-decent wheel cleaning solution is transformed if you use a good brush to agitate the solution. Offline | It's been a while since the last post in this thread, but I've always had success using Simple Green and a paint brush! The Simple green is cheap and doesn't affect the wheels finish. If there's room, use a hand mit to get the inside rim or one of those kitchen "sponge-on-a-stick" tools to get back there. To do a semi-clean between washes you can use a California Dash Duster to pick up the brake dust but it will not reach all the nooks and crannies. Hope this helps! ![]() '03 "S" DS/DS. Offline | Oops...I forgot to mention that you should always have a good wax job on the wheels. A teflon based one (Eagle One) works well on wheels, makes it easier to get the brake dust off. The only problem with Simple green is that it will remove your wax. You can also use a concentrate liquid soap designed for cars (Blue Coral, Westleys, etc...) that won't remove the wax but you may have to spray on and let sit a little longer than the Simple green.'03 "S" DS/DS. Offline | I have thr R90's on my cooper and they really aren't to hard to keep clean. The brake dust comes right off, much easier than my Alocoas on my Tacoma. Its does take a little time but I think its worth it in this case ![]() |

Offline | Wax the R90's with whatever you use on the body (this won't make for a very exciting weekend afternoon). When washing, the dust comes off easily with plain water and a car washing brush, the ones with very soft long bristles and a thick plastic handle. This gets into all the nooks and crannies and you'll soon figure out a pattern that gets them cleaned up fast. These are great looking wheels, I consider the slight extra cleaning effort worth it.
