How can I check what suspension was installed on my Cooper? Can you see the difference between Sports Suspension or Sports Suspension Plus?

You can get your dealer to check on the build spec of your car on the dealers BMW/MINI computer network using the cars VIN number.

It is difficult to see the difference as the ride hight is the same. The springs are harder and the anti roll bars are thicker.

Off course my dealer can tell, but in fact it's my dealer that I want to double check

Isn't there a difference in colour, brand, serial numbers...?

Also if you turn the wheels full lock and have a look in behind the front wheels there is a sticker on part of the suspension (dont know exactly what it is called) that says Cooper S if you have the SS+. Atleast this is the case for my Cooper
