I don't know if this topic was discussed before, but the US Spec MINI tail lights are all red, save for the new small white back up light. I much prefer what is available in the UK/Europe!!!! I am curious to know if anyone can direct me to a UK dealer (email preffered) that would be willing to sell a set of the new 05 tail lights that include the amber turn signals...thanks!

Personally having seen both in the flesh I think the US lights look much neater, prefer them over the "Euro" spec myself.

Might be worth sending a message to StevePSB or Minty on the forums here who work for a UK dealer.

Given that they have a couple tailight options at the dealership (at least at my dealer), can't your dealer order you a set?

One thing you need to make sure of is that you get the reverse tailight too. On pre-2005 mini's it's in the center of the car in the bumper. On the 2005 cars it's in the lamp cluster and the spot in the center of the car in the bumper is either blanked off or used for the rear fog light.

I believe I have heard, however, that the lamp sets are able to be retrofitted.
