I had to resort to that after borrowing a dremel with only 5 cutting blades!

then had to cut the vent at the front with a hand engraver and pull with pliers to get it off! eventually fitted and looks perfect!!!

heres the pics!

I've made the lower grill thinner with a Dremel and removed the clips too. The lower grill is mounted with some screws. Two nuds are glued in the grill, the bolts through two holes in the bumper and the grill is fixed.

To dismantle the grill, you have to dismantle the hole bumper.
Very important: painted the bumperbone after the grill black!

What do you think of my PW with brown and bronze-brown?

Why thanks Colin! think the grill gives it more a sporty look rather than the traditional chrome feel!!

Thats why I love it, more sporty. I love the traditional chrome but with the aggressiveness of my car so far i may as well go for the sporty look. Looks well.

Didn't have to take the bumper off at all!! Had an old lower grill so I was able to know where the slots were. Just pulled the coloured strip out, cut a couple of the fasteners of the chrome surround which attached to the bumper and it pulled out, all within 10mins. Then trimmed the aero grill with a pair of very sharp and good snips, took less than an hour. I've taken all the lower clips of the new grill but left a couple at the top which i've trimmed to fit and added a couple of holes in the bumper for them to go into. Just have to get it slightly adjusted to fit and going to use some adhesive at the bottom for extra security.

Lohen do a kit where you don't have to cut into the bumper.

Apologies if this has already been covered, I know this is quite an extensive thread but......I was wondering if anybody knew of somewhere where they fit the aero grill for you. I'm really not confident about fitting it myself.

I live in essex/north london area and any recommended fitters would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Id also like to know if any London based dealers / garages would do the work.

I have an 05 reg cooper s (with driving lamps and it all seems a bit too much for me!

Cheers
