Offline | Thinking of getting just the aero side skirts for my DS/B MCS as I've seen som eon another car and they look wicked. Does anyone know how much they might cost (inc fitting) and whether I should go to a local dealer (West London) to get them fitted or look else where? Thanks Simon |

Offline | Mine cost £550 inc fitting but IMO definitely worth it...makes the car look . I got my dealer to do everything that way if there were any probs I could go back to them!Tinks ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | I started a thread on exactly the same topic a few weeks back, surprising difference in prices, seems definitely worth phoning around and playing dealers aff each other. I think people have been quoted anything from £400 to over £600 for the skirts. Might be worth searching the forums for that thread, cant really remember but i think Synter was one of the cheaper garages someone mentioned - maybe £435, cant remember 100% There are also two options with the skirts - they come primered and then require paint & fitting or they come pre painted and only require fitting. So you might get two different prices, make sure you check one the price quoted is for. Also might be worth asking the dealers about fitting and gaps - some threads on here about people getting a poor fit from some dealers. I got mine fitted a few weeks back and they look great - subtle touch but it sets the sides off really well. I opted for the pre painted ones, that way you should be guaranteed a good finish on them. Hope this helps. BC |

| Remember | yes be careful of fit, some dealers can't seem to get the passenger side to fit correctly, leaving a 5mm gap between car and skirt on the rear quarter. Need to find the thread about that myself too, as I want them on properly ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
