Are they worth £160 ? (my dealers quoted price)
Do they work with the "remote control alarm" (code 302 £200) ?
(the factory fit version not Mikey's offering)

I think they are pretty good to have, as they come heated if factory fitted (plus heated windscreen washer as well) as well as folding. But they don't work off the remote, they are still manualy operated - you get an extra button by the mirror adjust switch.

United-States Didn't even know...

they were supposed to fold(couldn't find any reference in the owners manual). Although they more rotate than fold. Nice to know. Thanks.

I wish I'd have had these as an option when I got my 05 Cooper in Nov. last year.
Didn't have a garage before, do now though & these would have been helpful

Do MINI do them aftermarket?

I got them just because they look so cool...my mates always say "ooo!" when i press the button. My friend who has an original Mini hates me for making it even more BMW though.

Anyone have a picture of what this switch looks like, and a pic of the underside? thanks
