Yellow Cooper Headlight bulbs for my mini one

I am thinking of changing the headlight and sidelight (not indicator) bulbs on my mini 1. However i'm not sure what exact type of buld 2 get! I am looking at the philips bluevision 4000k, but does anyone know if the mini one has a standard size/type of bulb or if not what size/type do i get?

Thanks very much

P.s. this is my first post!

Make sure you get the wattage right, some folks have fiited higher rated bulbs and now have discoloured lenses due to heat build up. and its not covered under warranty,

I'm thinking of getting a set of headlights for my MC it's equiped with Philips Blue Vision Bulb (not Plus) atm but want brighter headlight.

What is the difference between the Philips Blue Vision PLus and the Osram SilverStar H7?
Anyone have any pics in comparison?

Philips 4000K

Have recently fitted philips 4000k sidelight bulbs to my Cooper, they are much whiter than the original. IThey look blue when you look at them, but once fitted they just look white. Am going to get some headlight bulbs to match next week.

The bulbs are H7s I have fitted ' Philips Vision Plus ' to my 05 MINI and also had them in my previous MINI , really good in poor weather with a clean white light , I also use Hella Comet 200 driving lamps and am really pleased with the set-up , btw the standard lights are much improved in 05 model .
