Can they be retrofitted?..is it just the bulb you replace or are there more workings that need to be dealt with?

Yes - retrofit is possible but its the lamp whole unit plus some electrics and a reprogram, not inexpensive I'd estimate around £400 ($800) plus labour charges

thanks for that mate..though it does work out to be quite expensive for me..I have to spend the same on the wife for anything I do to the MINI..works kit cost me a pair of new boobies for wifey but i guess that was a win win situation
