Howdy All!

I posted about a year ago - I purchased a pure silver mini that I wanted to get painted pink. Well, I went ahead and did it. On a recommendation from a friend, I used "Cinema Vehicle Services" in Van Nuys, CA - they do a lot of work for the Entertainment Industry. It wasn't inexpensive by a long shot, but they did an AMAZING job, and the color match was perfect.

I've attached pictures, hopefully they'll show up...

I think you have a stunning and unique Mini, the pink goes very well with the black. Respect for daring something like that, it worked out very well! I bet a lot of heads turn and smile when you drive by.

Hi Sm,

I am writting to you through my husbands nickname. He has recently purchased a MCS. myself I could not see the attraction and he has gone mad about it and been trying to convert me. He has just shown me the pitures of your mini. I must say if anything can convert me that will. Its fantastic ! I am a pink girl too ! Enjoy driving your fab pink car.

Thanks! I've only had it a couple of days, but I feel like I'm always in a parade! (Or, as my boyfriend says "you can never leave the house without makeup!")

I didn't alter anything inside - it's black/silver (the soprt package that comes with the pure silver model, which is what it used to be

It cost $3700 and change, and took about two weeks. I know it can be done cheaper, but I wanted the factory-quality job.

Or just think I'm crazy. But I did get a thumbs-up from a couple of guys today - two third graders coming in from gym class. I think they thought I was part of a parade.

Love it!!! I want one!! Given that I am a bit of a pink chick (bedroom is painted cerise pink!) think the car is great!! How to make a mini stand out even more then the already do!!!
