Any idea on the price of Aero skirts??

Basically, I want Aero side skirts but I don't want to pay the extortionate rates for fitting, so I want to fit them myself.

Does anyone know the cost for supply and painting?

mine were £450, fitted, so about £400 not fitted, it only takes an hour max

you could fashion some yourself from a length of drain pipe

A bit of work with a heat gun and it'll look great

i think so. some of that fibre glass filler the ricers love so much & you won't be able to tell the difference.

Any good websites to order side skirts from?

I haven't done a lot of searching, but so far I've only found the entire aero-kit, which I don't want.

Might get on the phobe to my dealer and see what they say about supply only, get the paint done somewhere else....

My dealer tells me that BMW labour rates are a ton an hour now

I thought the primed skirts were £120 each.... + painting + fitting, so knock fitting off, find a decent spray shop to sort them and you're looking around £350.....Strangely enough what I paid

my dealer quoted £400+ which amazes me when the entire kit is only £995
