Offline | Ahh, I didn't think about the reflector... I thought you only needed a seperate reflector if the the entire light unit had no red within it (like the white light kit)? Could you post a link to the faq as I'm having trouble finding it in the FAQ section above Cheers Jonathan |

Offline | All of the red surround is reflective on the standard lights, the three round lights being the brake/tail lights, the indicators and the fog lamps. With those new ones you've posted the surround is black and non reflective, so the reflector has to be added seperately ![]() |

Offline | Sorry, but wouldn't the clear one be the indicator? Remember that its not an 05 spec car or lamps ![]() I think you'll find: Top red one - fog Middle clear one - indicator Middle Red one - reflector Bottom one - brake |

Offline | I do like the solid black look more but I'm not sure how the police would view them over here Also, someone mentioned that you might have a difficult time if someone ran into the back of you and said that they couldn't see your brake lights very well.... not a conversation I would really like to get into ButtonIt, the fact that they aren't too 'lexusy' is also a big draw for me. From the angle you showed, they look like they have a lot of chrome but from straight on they look quite black and smart. The main thing is that they don't have the chrome surround like the regular lights. Last edited by onemini : Feb 21st, 2005 at 07:44 AM. |

| Ay Up | £149 pound, but have to admit i did get the silver tec bulbs free with the deal. You can get the lights cheaper, but thought what the hell as the bulbs would have been about £9.00 anyway. Make sure you get the bulbs though, as you will get v ****ed off with the horrible orange glow from the bulb. ![]() |

| Ay Up | Jon, Buy your lights and bulbs from here, they are are reputable company and the bulbs are only £3.00 https://www.plminishop.com/view_prod...product=WB343C Word of advice, try your best not to handle the silver bulb too much when replacing it with the orange ones, as the silver 'coating' doesn't like to be touched too much.(can leave finger prints on bulb) |

Offline | Cool, that's a bargain. I have found the black lights on ebay for £110 including postage which seems reasonable. I notice they say ultra across the clear plastic.. do yours? Also what is the quality like? |

| Ay Up | Hi Jon, No it only has a little engraved ULTRA logo in the bottom left of each light. as the lights are made by ultra, £110 Is very good! Get them then buy the bulbs and you'll not regret it! Quality? They look pretty good at night, the red lights are like little LED's in a circle when illuminated (obviously there not) but had a few comments how well them look at night. BUY THEM!!!! See pic for ultra engrave thing in left corner |

Offline | I received my black ultra lights the other day (ebay) but was so dissapointed with the results that I sent them back for a refund The quality was terrible, lots of bad moulding and cracking. Also there were scratches to the interior of the light made when they were put together. The search for smart black lights continues Anyone know where I can get light tinting film form and opinions on the legality of this stuff in the UK would be appreciated ![]() |
