Offline | I've currently got white rear lights on my MCS, but don't actually like them. They were a dealer fit option on the car when it was new, but I bought it 3 months ago. I've decided to change them, but can't decide what to have instead. I don't like the rear lights that stick out (Lexus??) so I'm looking for a flush fitting rear lights with clear indicators. I've seen some from www.dcp-shop.co.uk, but can't tell if they are flush fitting. They're not too expensive and I'll sell the old white ones on ebay. But are they any good? Any ideas or alternative?? (Pictures of DCP's lights and current ones attached) |

Offline | I looked at a pair of rear lights, that were for sale, at the mini show in Bath last year. They were very similar to the DCP lamps in your picture. The quality of the sets that I saw for sale was so poor that I didn't give them a second thought. They were about £90 for the pair. I've changed my own lamps for the new style '05 lamps and its worth it just for the improved visibility when reversing at night. Probably a relatively dull option I know, as the '05 lights get more common, but they work really well. I look forward to the day when someone brings out a proper LED tail lamp set. I am sure it's just a matter of time and it's likely that they will fit the newer style cars first. So on that basis, why not modify the wiring to and fit the '05 lamps (it's not difficult) and then wait, ever hopeful, for the LED lamps? It's only a suggestion... Offline | I like these. Only picture i have of the back aswell ![]() Same as standard lights, just white indicator. Very subtle. They'll be going on the new S when it arrives, as not keen on the new style, although they are a lot brighter. ![]() |
