England Sunroof border going green

I have the glass sunroof fitted and around the edges of the roof outside, the furry liner, its starting to go a but green. Reminds of the days of my old Mini, with moss growing on the window sills.
Anyway, suggestions for cleaning / remving this ?

My sunroof liner is doing this too. I haven't made a huge effort to deal with it but would also appreciate some tips. Parking under oak trees causes this problem quite quickly

Welcome to mini2 btw

I just use an old toothbrush on it. Just wait until it's nice and dry and it should just come away..

Wait until its nice and dry ?? That will be sometime in May then
I'll give it a whirl and see what happens, will an electric toothbrush do the trick

Dunno never tried an electric one

It comes off a bit better if the moss is a bit dry and crusty, rather than wet and a bit slimey..

You shouldn't have specced the GRASS Sunroof
My old Minis always had moss growing in the window slots - especially my Mini Traveller which had so much moss we called it Stirling

Hehe reminds me of my old metro, with the mossy windows I used to use a small brush (toothbrush as mentioned)
