Offline | 3m From what I understand, which sometimes isn't much, I think 3M is a rather universal auto tint. Your posting asked what brand, right? Remember to check with local motor vehicle laws to see how much you can tint your windows. DeniseK |

Offline | Ding !!! ...Denise is correct...3M will have the material you need. They have a 50% material which may go unnoticed by the cops over yonder. Good luck with it ! ![]() It is not how fast you go, but how you go. |

Offline | It should not be... ...more than $80 to $100 for the fronts only. We can get the entire car done for $160 to $250 here in TX. depending on the material selected. It is hard to imagine that someone would charge 160 Quid for just the two fronts.... ouch !!! It is not how fast you go, but how you go. |

Offline | I was not doubting you... ...I was just expressing surprise at the rates. Then I thought about it...that it probably includes VAT and it is probably the premium film. Sort of makes sense now. Just seems a bit harsh ($$$). I just had my car done with 3M Color Stable (the best one can get without metal impregnation) 5% all around including the sunroofs... and 35% on the windscreen. Total "damages" for this job... $220 inclusive of tax. Had it done with the metal-free type of film because I want the V1 to function at full potential. I also did not want the reflective look of metal because it is a black car. Would be nice if you Brits could catch a price break for a change... Cheers... ![]() It is not how fast you go, but how you go. |
