Hi,

I bought a Mini One, left hand drive over a year ago. The car was second hand from Germany. Now that the car is registered in the UK I had to bring it to the dealer to have the MOT done. They just called and said that our headlights need to be changed as they are not correct for the UK and they said it would cost over £350? Has anyone got an idea what to do? Your help would really be appreciated.

£350 Seems a little high. May I assume that they are normal halogen ones, not Xenon?

If you go to the dealer and ask for a pair of '05 halogen headlights they can be supplied for £195 inc VAT with 1/2 an hour labour on top of that for fitting if you don't fancy doing it yourself.

Problem solved ?
