Offline | Fitting an Aero Kit Hi, I have just brought an Aero kit for my Cooper and am planning to fit it myself tomorrow. Having looked at it today how do you remove the standard bumpers? I have the official Mini instructions how to fit it but it just says to remove the existing bumpers. Do the plastic trims that cover each of the wheel arches have to be removed to kit the kit. If so how do you remove them? Any photos of the swap would be appreciated. Super-bob ![]() |

Offline | Fitted the same kit myself last week. Seems easy now i have done it but during the fitting it was tricky. The plastic wheel arches dont need to be removed. I got instructions from northamericanonline.com. There is a good set of instructions on there. If you have any questions i will be happy to try answer. |

Offline | Thats the right site. Dont know what i was thinking. You should find detailed instructions on there. Its probable best to replace all the clips you remove. Just to make sure you get the best fit. Some of the clips dont break but they are cheap so i just replaced them all. Your local Mini parts dep should stock the clips. |
