Question Stainless Steel Pollen Vents ?

Ive just bought some stainless steel replacement pollen vents from Mini Mania, these do look good in comparison to the plastic stock ones, hower the mes is not that thick and you can actually see parts of the subframe/structure of the car through them, especially on the drivers side.

The only thing i can think of (as i do like the look of them), is to attach some finer mesh to the underside of the replacment vents to obscure the view through them.

Has anyone else bought this item an had similar problems ?

Thanks

I purchased a set of those from minimania a few months back and was eagerly awaiting delivery. Then I got a call from minimania canceling my order because they said they were coming off while driving. They said the clips have to be redesigned to hold them on tighter. QUESTION: Do yours fit tight.? Hopefully they've been improved.
Perhaps buying some stainless steel window screening and cutting a piece to fit the backside might alleviate the problem of the wide mesh, just a thought...

I am going to fit them tommorrow, today i have fitted mesh to the underside of each vent, it does look a lot better sitting on the car. I ll post pics tomorrow !
